The Week of the Young Child 2012 is April 22nd-28th. Week of the Young Child is an Annual Celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Yong Children (NAEYC).  It is a public campaign intended to raise awareness on the needs of young children and their families. It is also an opportunity to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet the needs of young children and their families. The Beaufort-Hyde Partnership for Children has many  activities scheduled for the week including a Kid Care Connection Expo and Children’s Parade/Festival. Our Celebrate Children’s Festival will feature a performance by Pamlico Joe and Clean Water Flow. FREE KONA ICE will also be provided by Jim Pounds, local franchise owner.
